About Us

Hi, I’m Darrell Boyette. I grew up in the small town of Rincon, Georgia, where I was introduced to my first premium cigar in 1995. By the year 2000, I was so in love with the culture I started dreaming of one day owning a cigar shop of my own. In 2001, we left Rincon and moved to Charlotte, NC, where I secured a part-time job at Tinder Box Cigars of the Carolinas not knowing it was one of the most successful Cigar companies in the country! I was able to work my way up the ladder and soon became general manager over all six stores all the while, still dreaming of maybe one day branching out and doing my own thing. Life comes at you so fast though and the next thing you know I had been there over 20 years. After the passing of my father in 2021, I knew it was time to move back home to Rincon to be closer to my mom, family, and friends. After 25 years, my dream would finally become a reality. As a thank you to the main three people who never let me give up on my lifelong dream. I decided to name the store after them. My wife, Debbie, and two of my best friends of over 30 years, Andy and Mike. And so it’s born, D.A.M. Fine Cigars. Please come by and see what happens when you have 25 years to dream about a concept and are in training for 20 years! I think it’s pretty DAM Fine!!!

Roman Boyette is our two-year-old french bulldog mascot. He is fond of treats and watching his father smoke cigars.
